Gnocchi Bake

Bolognese Gnocchi Bake

Stuck with what to do with leftover bolognese? I love making a wholesome gnocchi bake, with lots of mozzarella and fresh basil.

Ingredients

  • Left-over bolognese sauce

  • Gnocchi

  • Mozzarella

  • Cherry tomatoes

  • Fresh basil

  • Olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

Method

  1. Preheat the oven at 180 degrees

  2. Warm the sauce on a low heat on the hob.

  3. Boil the gnocchi for 3 minutes, or 1 minute less than packet instructions

  4. Whilst the pasta is boiling, cut the tomatoes, tear the mozzarella, roughly chop the basil

  5. Stir the cooked gnocchi into the sauce and season

  6. Add all ingredients to an oven proof tray and BAKE!

  7. Cook for 10-15 mins until golden.

  8. Top with fresh basil and a sprinkle of salt and serve.
